Carroll County Public Schools will be accepting applications for the 4-year old Pre-School Program for the 2017-2018 school year on Friday, April 7, 2017, during regular school hours at each elementary school.
Eligibility for the program will be determined by the current criteria set forth by the Virginia Department of Education. Students with the greatest needs will be served. Children must be four years old by September 30, 2017, to be considered for the program. In order to complete the application process, parents are asked to bring income verification (preferably copy of first page of tax return). Please also bring to registration the child’s birth certificate, social security number and proof of residence. If a child is accepted into the Pre-K program, parents will have to provide a completed Physical Form and Immunization Record to the school no later than August 1, 2017.
The Physical and Immunization Form may be obtained at the school or the Carroll County Health Department. To participate in the services of the Health Department, parents need to make an appointment with the Health Department as soon as possible.
For further information, parents may contact the elementary school in their community.
