About the Program

The Southwest Virginia Program provides quality academic support services to migrant students in the counties of Carroll, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Scott, Grayson, Smyth, Washington, Floyd and Galax City. Students come from Mexico and other US States. The primary goal of the SWVA Migrant program is to ensure that all migrant students reach challenging academic standards and graduate with a high school diploma or complete a GED that purposes them for further learning.
