Special Education Department
About The Department
Children with disabilities (ages 2-21) are served in Carroll County Public Schools using a variety of activities, programs, and services including classroom accommodations, consultation, inclusive classrooms, direct instruction in separate locations, and necessary related services (speech, physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, and so forth). Our goal is that all children, including those with disabilities, graduate from Carroll County Public Schools with the skills necessary for employment and/or postsecondary education.
